Zomato IPO: The IPO that traders and investors were waiting for is over and today the IPO of food delivery platform Zomato is opening on 14th July. For this IPO of Rs 9375 crore, you will be able to bid till July 16. A day before the IPO, Zomato has raised Rs 4196.51 crore from anchor investors. According to the circular on the BSE website, the company has decided to allot 55,21,73,505 equity shares to anchor investors at a price of Rs 76 per share. Under this IPO of Rs 9375 crore, new equity shares of about Rs 9,000 crore will be issued, while the remaining shares of Rs 375 crore will be issued by Naukri.com’s parent company Info Edge (India) under the Offer for Sale (OFS).
Price band fixed at Rs 72-76
The price band for Zomato’s IPO has been fixed at Rs 72-76. The face value per share is Rs. For the bid, investors will have to bid for a minimum of 195 equity shares i.e. a minimum investment of Rs 14,820 as per the upper price of the price band. The company will use the funds received through fresh issue for organic and inorganic growth initiatives and for general corporate purposes. Its shares will be listed on BSE and NSE.
