It has been said in Pimpri-Chinchwad that people from every corner of the country have settled for livelihood. There are 5 lakh 60 thousand properties registered in the city, out of which 1 lakh 60 thousand houses are of 500 square feet size. Poor families live in houses up to 500 square feet. Now that all the transactions are going smoothly after recovering from the situation of Corona, the Corona crisis is again deepening. The number of corona patients is increasing rapidly. In this hour of crisis, it is necessary to give relief to the poor citizens living in houses of 500 square feet. There is a deep resentment among the city dwellers with the municipal administration. Therefore the poor citizens of the city have high hopes from the Maha Vikas Aghadi government of the state. The Mumbai Municipal Corporation has waived off the entire property tax on property up to 500 square feet. The state government has sealed it. Similarly, the entire tax on properties up to 500 square feet in Pimpri-Chinchwad city should be waived. Relief should be given to poor citizens by taking immediate decision in this regard.
