Meerut : The Governor of Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday called upon the students to please their families and honor the nation with their work and re-establish India at the place of world gravity with their tireless efforts.
In the 33rd convocation ceremony of Chaudhary Charan Singh University here, Chancellor Patel asked the students to take a vow that wherever they give their service, they will work with full honesty, integrity and dedication. He said that your good deeds reflect your personality. He called upon the youth to actively participate in the development of the country and the state.

Degrees were distributed to a total of 127961 students in the convocation, out of which 42492 are boys and 85496 are girls. Vande Mataram at the beginning of the function and national anthem at the end. Patel said that women power is moving forward. He said that out of all the awards given today, girls are more. He said that there should be a clean competition between the students. The Governor specially mentioned the works of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that the construction work of Saryu project was completed, due to which 30 lakh farmers would get water.
Referring to Meerut, Patel said that this city, which is known as the land of knowledge and struggle, has now developed into a major city as well as a manufacturer of products related to the sports world. On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma said that getting degrees is not the end of education, student always remains in the role of continuous study. (agency)
