Lucknow: Before the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, the Yogi Adityanath government has given a big gift to the employees of the state government. The government has increased the dearness allowance by three percent to the employees. Where the government used to give 28 percent DA earlier, it has now increased to 31 percent.
big honorarium of panchayat members and sarpanch
Earlier, the Chief Minister has made a big announcement for Sarpanches, Gram Panchayats, Zilla Panchayats, BDS. The Yogi government has increased the honorarium of village heads from Rs 3500 to Rs 5000. The Block Pramukh will get 11300 instead of 9800 and the District Panchayat President will now get an honorarium of Rs 15500 instead of 14000. Similarly, Gram Panchayat member will get Rs 100 per meeting. There will be 12 meetings of the Gram Panchayat in a year.
In this sequence, BDC (Kshetra Panchayat member) will get Rs 1000 per meeting instead of Rs 500. There will be six meetings of the Kshetra Panchayat in a year. District Panchayat member will now get Rs 1500 per meeting instead of Rs 1000 and Zilla Panchayat will also have six meetings in a year.
Two times the amount of village development
On the one hand, while the government made a big announcement for the panchayat members, it has increased the amount for village development. The government (Yogi Adityanath Government) will now give five lakh rupees per work every year for the development of three-tier panchayats. Earlier this limit amount was 2 lakhs. Similarly, district panchayats will be given an amount of Rs 25 lakh per work for development. Earlier this amount limit was Rs 10 lakh.
