Nagpur. The ST workers’ strike, which has been going on for the last one and a half months, is under the shadow of the strict decisions of the ST Mahamandal. The management took a tough decision in Aurangabad on Thursday, according to which a plan has been made to compensate the loss from the salary of the workers. Along with this, the corporation has made it clear that the employees who do not return to work will be made to sit at home. This decision has worried the people sitting on strike.
If sources are to be believed, the tough decisions of the corporation can pose a serious challenge to the employees union in the coming times. After the decision of Aurangabad, the families of the employees sitting on strike have also started pressurizing them to return to work because till now the strike has neither got the support of the government nor the court. Therefore, now this strike seems to be sinking in the middle.
Although the employee organizations are confidently expecting a positive result, but the strict attitude of the corporation seems to be forcing many employees to return to work. According to the officials, in January 2022, the corporation can take a tough decision, that is why the workers are being asked again and again to return to the job so that the deteriorating traffic system can be brought back on track.
