Nearly 4 years after James “Whitey” Bulger was overwhelmed to loss of life in jail, three males have been indicted in connection to the deadly pummeling of the Boston mob boss.
Fotios Geas, also called “Freddy,” 55, Paul DeCologero, also called “Pauly,” 48, and Sean McKinnon, 36, have been charged with conspiracy to commit first-degree homicide, based on the Department of Justice. Bulger was 89 years outdated when he died.
Geas and DeCologero are accused of putting Bulger within the head a number of occasions and inflicting his loss of life in October 2018 whereas they have been incarcerated at U.S. Penitentiary Hazleton in Bruceton Mills, West Virginia.
In addition to the conspiracy cost, Geas and DeCologero have been charged with aiding and abetting first-degree homicide, together with assault leading to critical bodily damage.
Geas faces a separate cost for homicide by a federal inmate serving a life sentence, and McKinnon faces a separate cost of creating false statements to a federal agent.
Geas remains to be incarcerated at USP Hazelton. DeCologero is not being held at USP Hazelton, however stays housed within the federal jail system. McKinnon was on federal supervised launch on the time of the indictment, and was arrested in Florida on Thursday.
The triple indictment follows an investigation by FBI Pittsburgh and the Bureau of Prisons Special Investigative Services.
