Pulgaon. A historic decision was taken by the Modi government to discontinue 500 and 1000 rupee notes. With this, the talk of curbing corruption and illegal activities of the country proved to be a ruse of the government. After this neither illegal activities were curbed, nor did the black money come back. Neither did fifteen lakh rupees come in the account, but at the time of demonetisation, common citizens had to face a lot of trouble and become victims. At that time many leaders of the ruling party got the notes exchanged.
Then after a few months, banks brought Rs 2,000 and Rs 500 notes into the market in new notes. For the last two years, hardly any bank has stopped giving two thousand notes. This note is visible only occasionally with the bank’s personnel. But it stopped giving to the account holder. Only 500 rupee notes are being traded.
Here the old notes of 10 and 5 have also become closed and new notes are not being received from the bank, due to which business has to be done with notes at some places and even five coins are not being received from the banks, due to which Traders are facing many problems. Where it got lost is beyond comprehension.
Did the glory of the vault of the elders become
On the other hand, in the market too, five hundred, two hundred notes are visible with the traders. But two thousand notes are not being found. The disappearance of two thousand notes from the banks, the country is not showing any economic crisis. There is a discussion in the public that this two thousand note has become the pride of the vault of big industrialists or the corruption of politicians has been sacrificed. Due to this, where was the two thousand note lost, the public is asking such a question.
ATM became a showpiece
The ATMs of the city, irrespective of the banks, remain closed for several days in a month and remain showpieces on the pretext of link failure. Also, the withdrawal of two thousand notes from ATMs has probably stopped for years. What is the reason for this, it is beyond comprehension, but the officials of any bank are not able to solve this problem, were the two thousand notes completely banned? This has become a matter of discussion.
