The Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) has decided to lift the weekend curfew imposed after the decline in the speed of corona in the national capital of the country. At the same time, the odd-even system has been abolished to play non-essential shops. However, as before, the night curfew will continue from 10 pm to 5 am. It was announced to impose a weekend curfew on January 1 to prevent the spread of the new variant of the corona virus, Omicron. That is, after four weeks, the weekend curfew was removed.
This means that the weekend curfew will not be applicable in Delhi from next Saturday-Sunday. However, the wait for the school to open has just increased a bit. Now from the next meeting of DDMA, a positive decision can be expected regarding the opening of the school.
Know what will remain open and what will remain closed
All Grade 1 government employees will work with 100% capacity. Other employees will work in the office with 50 per cent capacity, the rest 50 per cent will work from home. All the employees in the departments related to essential work will work in the office.
The odd-even system has been abolished from the market. Malls, market complexes will be allowed to open from 10 am to 8 pm.
Cinema halls, theatres, multiplexes have been allowed to open with 50 percent capacity. At the same time, it is necessary to strictly follow the COVID protocol.
Restaurants have been allowed to open from 8 am to 10 pm with 50 per cent capacity.
The bar has been allowed to open from 12 noon to 10 pm. However, relaxation has been given only with 50 percent seating capacity.
Now 200 people will be able to attend the wedding. At the same time, marriage halls will open with 50 percent capacity.
100 people have been allowed to attend the funeral.
Weekend curfew will no longer be imposed, although night curfew will remain in force every day from 10 pm to 5 am.
Schools to Reopen in India: Center may issue advisory to reopen schools soon
Schools, educational institutes, gyms will remain closed for now. The reason for this is that no mention has been made about this in the order. State Education Minister Manish Sisodia has met the parents and agreed to the demand of the parents to reopen the schools. He said that schools should be started again as children are suffering a lot.
