IMD Weather Updates: Monsoon is being departed from many states of the country. Meanwhile, Monsoon Monsoon is preparing to bring rain in South India. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), there will be more rain in parts of Kerala, Karnataka and Telangana.
The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in some areas of Kerala on October 11, 12 and 13. At the same time, a warning of heavy rain has been issued in the coastal areas of Karnataka from October 11 to 13 and in the hinterland in the north till October 10, 12 and 13.

Heavy rain is very likely at isolated places over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Madhya Maharashtra, Interior Karnataka, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal and Kerala and Mahe. Gale wind with speed reaching 40-50 kmph very likely at isolated places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

11 October
Heavy to very heavy rainfall is very likely at isolated places over Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Kerala and Mahe on October 11. On the other hand, heavy rain is expected at isolated places over Konkan and Goa, Coastal areas of Madhya Maharashtra, Karnataka, Rayalaseema and Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal. Meanwhile, strong winds are possible over South Bay of Bengal and Gulf of Mannar. Whose speed can be up to 40-50 kmph. In such a situation, fishermen have been asked not to fish.
12 October
Heavy to very heavy rain very likely at isolated places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Kerala & Mahe. Thunderstorms may occur at isolated places over Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh coasts, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry.

At the same time, heavy rain is also expected at isolated places in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal. Strong wind speed reaching 45-55 kmph very likely over east-central Bay of Bengal.
In Kerala, heavy rain is expected in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam and Idukki. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert.
