Violation of corona rules; 42 three wheelers, four wheelers seized

Akola. Instructions have been given by the district administration to strictly follow the COVID rules. Accordingly, in the last three days, Police Inspector Vilas Patil of the City Traffic Control Branch, taking action against a total of 42 three wheeler and four wheeler drivers transporting passengers for violating the COVID rules, their vehicles have been confiscated. The said vehicles include other vehicles including Maximo, Epay, Kali Peeli Taxi, Auto etc. Currently the infection of Corona and Omicron is increasing.

Due to which action is being taken against the drivers and passengers who violate the government rules. This action is being taken against those drivers and passengers who have not put on mouth and nose masks while travelling, have not carried a certificate of taking the corona preventive vaccine or have transported more passengers in the vehicle. Cases are being registered against the drivers of the seized vehicles in this action. In this action, 42 vehicles have been seized in the last three days.

Strictly follow the rules issued by the administration

All motorists are urged to transport passengers only after looking at the passenger capacity of their vehicle, not to transport more passengers than the capacity. Only those who have been vaccinated against Corona should be taken. Do not transport passengers without masks, everyone should take care that corona infection does not spread, drivers and passengers should wear masks.
