There was a stir everywhere due to the painful incident
It is to be known that Ankita Pisudde, working as a lecturer in a college in Hinganghat, reached Hinganghat from Daroda village in the morning on 3 February 2020. After landing at Nandori intersection, she set out to walk to the college at around 7.20 pm, during which Daroda resident Nikesh Nagrale (27) came after her on a two-wheeler, stopped Nikita on the middle of the road and set her on fire by spraying petrol due to one-sided love. . As soon as this painful incident came to light, there was a stir everywhere. Nikesh fled from there after carrying out the incident.
Death occurred after scorching up to 40 percent
Citizens extinguished the fire from the premises, but by then Ankita was scorched up to 40 percent. He was admitted to the Orange City Hospital in Nagpur for treatment. But he died on 10 February 2020 at 6.55 am. After the incident, police searched Nikesh on a war footing and arrested him at 2.30 pm. After presenting the accused in the court, his PCR was taken till 8 February. After this the accused was sent to the jail. Since then the accused is imprisoned in the jail.
People had come out on the road for justice
Due to the handing over of the Lady Lecturer in broad daylight, in many districts of the state, citizens took to the road to give justice to Ankita. There was a demand for the death penalty to the accused Nikesh Nagrale. After the matter caught fire, the state government announced to run the case in the fast track court, legal expert Ed. Nikesh had filed a petition seeking bail
The accused Nikesh Nagrale had filed a petition in the High Court on 16 June 2020 to get bail. But seeing the seriousness of the matter, the judge had rejected his petition on 22 June.

In this case Ed. After Nikam’s appointment, he appeared for the first time in Hinganghat Court on 14 December 2020. After this the hearing of the case started in the court. The case has been heard 64 times. Ed. Nikam argued 34 times by appearing in the court. There were a total of 77 witnesses in the case, out of which the statements of 29 witnesses were examined. The final decision of this matter is about to come in the court of District Sessions Judge Rahul Bhagwat.
