Amravati, Vaccination of students in the age group of 15 to 18 years is getting overwhelming response in the district. Under which, in the last eight days i.e. from January 3 to January 10, 45 thousand 019 adolescent students have been vaccinated in the district. The district administration is urging students and citizens to get vaccinated immediately in view of the third wave of corona virus.
Maximum vaccination in municipal area
The infection of the new Omicron variant of Corona is increasing day by day everywhere. Therefore, in view of the increasing spread of infection, vaccination of adolescents in the age group of 15 to 18 years has been started from January 3 across the country. According to the district administration, there are about 1.5 lakh teenage students in the district. Accordingly, complete preparations have been made for vaccination in all the tehsils. The District Health Department is also trying to complete the vaccination of students by organizing vaccination camps in junior colleges. Till January 10, 45 thousand 019 students have been vaccinated in the district. The maximum number of 12 thousand 294 adolescents have been vaccinated in the municipal area.
