Who is Tirath Singh Rawat
Tirath Singh Rawat was elected the first Education Minister of newly formed Uttarakhand in the year 2000. He was the state president of Uttarakhand BJP from February 2013 to December 2015. Currently Tirath Singh Rawat is the BJP national secretary as well as an MP from the Garhwal Lok Sabha. In addition to the BJP candidate from Pauri seat, he was also made the election in-charge of Himachal Pradesh in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. In 2012, Chaubatakhal was elected MLA from the Legislative Assembly. From its first year 1983 to 1988, he was a pracharak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.
