Bulandshahr (UP). Union Home Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Amit Shah on Thursday took a jibe at the alliance between Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) and Samajwadi Party (SP) in the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections and cautioned RLD leader Jayant Chaudhary. That SP President Akhilesh Yadav does not listen to even his father and uncle, then what will he listen to them (Chowdhary).
Addressing an election program in Anupshahr assembly constituency of Bulandshahr district in western Uttar Pradesh, Shah also claimed that the SP would not be able to form the government in the state. He lauded the Yogi Adityanath government in the state and attacked Akhilesh asking whether the SP chief can maintain law and order in the state. Shah said, “He (Akhilesh) does not meet people, only holds press conferences and now our Jayant ji is on his side.
The government is not to be formed, but Jayant Chaudhary thinks that the government will be formed and Akhilesh will listen to them. Jayant babu This is false. The person who does not listen to his father and uncle, what will he listen to you? He said that at first the SP government will not be formed in Uttar Pradesh, but even if it is formed, the RLD chief will be fired “on the third day” and Azam Khan will be in his place.
The senior BJP leader hit out at the previous SP and BSP governments over the purchase of crops by the state and said that the situation has changed under Prime Minister Narendra Modi and farmers’ crops are being purchased at the minimum support price rates. He credited his party BJP for public welfare schemes like direct cash transfer in the accounts of the poor, distribution of ration, providing long-term power supply, electricity connection to homes, construction of toilets etc.
The Union Home Minister said, “Why couldn’t you (SP, BSP) do this? Because they gave contract to only one caste and indulged in corruption.”
Shah had come to campaign in favor of BJP candidate Sanjay Sharma. Voting for this seat will be held on February 10. Later, while campaigning in Ghaziabad’s Loni, the former BJP President said that the assembly elections are not for making anyone a minister but for the elimination of criminals. He said in an election meeting that this election is to make the future bright for the youth and make 15 crore poor prosperous. Union Minister VK Singh also participated in this public meeting.
