LYNN, Mass. (AP) — The largest union representing staff for General Electric Co. says it’s reached an settlement with the corporate to hurry up raises for staff at a Massachusetts aviation plant.
Under the deal, staff could be eligible for raises sooner and will attain the highest pay charge after six years of labor, as an alternative of as many as 10 required beneath the outdated system.
The tentative settlement first reported Tuesday by The Associated Press have to be ratified by staff in a vote set for later this month.
