Union Budget 2021: The budget session will begin on January 29 in the Corona epidemic. The Rajya Sabha will meet from 9 am to 2 pm and the Lok Sabha will meet from 4 pm to 9 pm. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has given information about this. The Lok Sabha Speaker said that during the session there will be zero hours and Question Hour also. He has asked all MPs to conduct RT-PCR test before the meeting. RT-PCR test is done to detect corona infection. Apart from this, the Lok Sabha Speaker informed that food subsidy has been abolished in the Parliament canteen.

Budget will be presented on a date

The budget session of Parliament will start from 29 January and the general budget for the financial year 2021-22 will be presented on 1 February. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present it. The budget session is expected to end by 8 April this time, with a break of 20 days between 15 February and 8 March. The President will address both houses of Parliament on January 29 at 11 am. A press release in this regard has been issued on 14 January. This time the budget will be the third budget of the second term of the Modi government. This budget has become very important due to Corona epidemic and subsequent economic crisis.

Winter session was cancelled

For the first time after September 2020, the Parliament session will resume at the end of this month. The monsoon session has been cut by seven days in September when many MPs became COVID-19 positive.
