    The coronavirus is causing an outbreak of corona (COVID-19 virus) all over the world including India at this time. So far more than 35 million people have been infected in the world, while more than 1 million people have died. The second wave of coronavirus has started in some countries. Restrictions have been increased once again in Britain. At the same time, the number of corona cases in Sri Lanka (Coronavirus in Sri Lanka) is continuously increasing. Subsequently, Sri Lanka has announced an indefinite curfew in two cities of the Western Province. Also, it has been decided to keep all schools in the country closed till further orders.

    Ban on opening school
    According to the report, the Sri Lankan Ministry of Education has said that all schools in the country will remain closed from Monday. During this time all Catholic, private, international schools, as well as pre-school and monastic colleges, have been closed. Also, all tuition classes have been banned in Colombo and Gampaha districts. These classes will be postponed indefinitely. The University Grants Commission said Kelaniya University, Gampaha Vikramarachchi Ayurveda Institute and Naivala Advanced Technological Institute will remain closed this week. Students living in hostels have been directed to leave for their homes immediately.

    Curfew in some cities
    So far, 3 thousand 396 cases of corona infection have been reported in Sri Lanka. While 13 people have died. The government then decided to impose an indefinite curfew in Divulapitia and Minwanagoda. “About 50 people from the factory and the hospital were sent for home quarantine after finding a woman corona positive in the clothing factory,” said COVID-19 task force chief and Army commander Shavendra Silva.
