According to the data released by the Ministry of Railways, there are currently 4002 converted coaches of this type in 16 zones and according to the news agency ANI these COVID Care Coaches can be made available to them at the request of the states. Talking about the capital Delhi, there is a system of 50 COVID-19 isolation coaches with 800 beds at Shakur Basti railway station. Apart from this, 25 coaches will also be available at Anand Vihar railway station. According to Railway Minister Piyush Goyal, on the basis of demand, Railways can arrange 3 lakh isolation beds across the country.

According to the Railway Ministry, isolation covid care coaches have started functioning in Nandurbar, Maharashtra. Corona infected patients are being kept in it. In Nandurbar, the Covid Care Isolation Coaches have been covered with layered mat / carpets and a water drip system has been provided to keep its temperature low.
Railways has taken the initiative to tighten without masks and spit
A few days ago, under an order, the railway has made a provision of fine of up to 500 rupees on those who are found without masks in the railway premises. Apart from this, people who spit in the railway premises due to the Corona epidemic will also be strict. According to the Railways, strict action will be taken against anyone who endangers the lives of other people by any such activity. According to the order issued by the Railways, fines will be levied for not wearing the mask compulsorily. The provision related to this will be listed under the Indian Railways (Penalties for Activities Affecting Cleanliness at Railway Premises) Rules, 2012. Under this, there is a provision for fine if found spitting in the railway premises.
