At the young age of 24, Aman Puri envisioned changing the world of sports, wellness and healthcare in a big way. Being internationally recognized in skating, cricket, marathons, national-level shooting, international level mountain biking, cross-country duathlon, triathlon etc. he understood the complex and varied requirements of an athlete’s body.
As an athlete, he was aware of the need for the Indian sports fraternity to get high-quality nutrition. He felt that sports and fitness should be inclusive for all.
In 2017, he founded Standfast Nutrition, a premium sports and wellness nutrition brand in Noida.
In a conversation with BusinessKhabar, Aman says,
“Professional people in sports need various health services to make their bodies strong and fit. However there was no brand in our country that caters to this segment. Thus, many players in India depend on imported health nutritional supplements. I have come up with the idea of introducing standfast nutrition after finding this gap in the industry. ”
STEADFAST Nutrition is a part of STEADFAST Medishield Private Limited. It is a pharmaceutical company founded by Aman’s father Yogesh Puri.

Business Khabar: What is STEADFAST nutrition?
Aman Puri: STEADFAST Nutrition is a premium sports and wellness nutrition division of STEADFAST Medishield Private Limited. The brand aims to revolutionize the world of sports-nutrition in India, serving high-quality supplements and people between the ages of five and 95 years.
STEADFAST was started as a specialty in kidney care and later diversified into premium sports and wellness nutrition, sports clothing, nutrition consulting, sports events and management divisions. The group does a total business of Rs 55 crore and is growing by 25-30 percent month-on-month.
What is the market size of your area and how are you different from the competition?
Aman: The market size of nutritional products is around Rs 15,000 crore. We have introduced high-quality supplements with a unique vision of serving people of all age groups. It is the most advanced concept of complementarity that introduces the idea of a single-serving pouch. It is highly clean, convenient and premium-grade quality sports and wellness nutrition.
With numerous laboratory tests and a dedication to offering the best, the brand strives to develop the best products at the customer’s doorstep and deliver superior products.
Being an athlete I understand the complex and different requirements of an athlete’s body and this idea is central to the development of new and different products in our lineup.
STEADFAST Medishield is the parent company specialized in kidney care, with a decade of experience working closely with doctors and renal patients. We understand the ill effects of nutrition and fitness abuse and have developed products with the highest consideration being long-term well-being. We proudly say that “we understand organs better.”
What are your points of sale (PoS)?
Aman: STEADFAST Medishield is available at 120 outlets in Delhi / NCR. The brand has more than 1,000 stores across India.
STEADFAST nutritional products are also sold in various institutions and consumed by athletes preparing for the Olympic Games.
Standfast nutritional supplements are manufactured in six third party manufacturing units located across the country.
Your Story: What are your future prospects?
Aman: We want to grow our business portfolio and footprint in nutraceutical innovation and have become the fastest-growing organization. As a long-term goal, we aim for the country to become consultants after the subcontinent for the healthcare sector. We also aim to build an organizational infrastructure that helps us serve more people and want to move towards ensuring 360 degrees of excellence in the health industry.
