Third booster dose given to 60 employees including Municipal Commissioner Aastik Kumar Pandey

Aurangabad: Corona Preventive Vaccine (third) booster dose This morning on Tuesday morning, Municipal Commissioner and Administrator Astik Kumar Pandey along with Additional Municipal Commissioner B.B. 60 city health care workers including Nemane, Ravindra Nikam are eligible for the third. On Tuesday, booster dose was given to the frontline workers officers and employees at the corporation headquarters. The campaign for the employees of the headquarters will continue on Wednesday as well.

As a precautionary third (booster) dose is being given to health workers, frontline workers and senior citizens above 60 years of age by the Municipal Health Department from January 10, 2022. As per the guidelines of the Central Government, the Aurangabad Municipal Corporation is giving the third dose of booster to the eligible beneficiaries in the background of the third wave of corona. Municipal Commissioner and Administrator Astik Kumar Pandey, Additional Commissioner B.B. Nemane, Ravindra Nikam has taken the third dose and a booster dose will also be given to the eligible officers of all the departments of the corporation and the health workers, frontline workers and 60 employees have been given the dose till this evening. This campaign for the employees of the headquarters will continue tomorrow as well. This was said by the city health department.

Speaking on the occasion, Municipal Commissioner and Administrator Astik Kumar Pandey said that 90 percent vaccination has been done in the city and the second dose is above 50 percent. The city health department has set up camps in the wards to ensure 100% completion of vaccinations and the rest of the citizens are getting an encouraging response to take the dose. As per the guidelines of the Central Government (Guidelines) various measures have been taken by the Municipal Health Department to complete the vaccination and teams have been formed in the vegetable market. Guidelines have been issued to vegetable vendors and consumers regarding social gathering, use of masks etc. Nemane, Ravindra Nikam, Municipal Engineer SD Panjhade, Deputy Commissioner Aparna Thete, Saurabh Joshi, Health Medical Officer Paras Mandlecha, Chief Auditor D. Ka Vahule, besides all the heads of the departments were present.
