Nashik : These days thieves are roaming freely in Nashik district. The thieves broke into 6 houses and 7 shops in a single night. Due to which there has been a ruckus in the entire district. Common citizens are scared and the question is being asked what is the police doing. These thefts took place in Nampur, Malegaon and other rural areas of the district. At present, the cycle of motorcycle theft continues daily in Malegaon. But now the thieves have looted the Bhaigaon area including the camp.
Thieves broke into 7 shops overnight in the district and looted lakhs. The thieves have challenged the police especially by breaking into two shops adjacent to the wall of the Camp Police. The thieves broke the shutters of Sairam Alankar and Balaji Bhandar near the camp police station in Malegaon and looted gold jewelery and other items. Later they broke into Jajuwadi area and looted lakhs. The special thing is that the thieves have been caught on CCTV. Based on the same, the Camp and Vadner Khakurdi police have started investigation. Police also visited the spot. Thieves stole 10 LED TVs from Jeevan Furniture’s shop in Kalamatha, Andersul, Yewala Tehsil. The thieves entered the furniture shop by cutting the shutters. Also, 10 LED TVs worth about Rs 2 lakh were stolen from the shop. All these incidents have been caught on CCTV and a case has been registered in this regard in Yewala Tehsil Police.
