New Corona Guidelines
The Union Home Ministry has allowed cinema halls and theatres to continue to operate with greater capacity under the new guidelines related to COVID-19. At the same time, the swimming pool has also been approved to open for everyone. These new guidelines will be applicable from February 1. Social, religious, sports, entertainment, educational, cultural, religious programs have already been allowed to be held in the hall with a maximum capacity of 50 per cent. Now up to 200 people will be allowed in closed places.
Mumbai Local for All
The services of local trains called Mumbai’s Lifeline will start from February 1 for all common people. The Maharashtra government has given approval for the resumption of suburban train services for the common people. However, passengers will be able to travel within the prescribed time slot. According to the instructions given by the Government of Maharashtra by writing a letter to the Railways, the journey for the common people from the start of the first local to 7 am and then from 12 noon to 4 pm and from 9 pm till the last local service runs. IRCTC E-Catering
There is great news for railway passengers. Indian Railways has decided to restart IRCTC’s e-catering service on trains. This service will start from 1 February. However, e-catering service will start at select railway stations only. In March last year, Indian Railways had completely stopped the service of e-catering to prevent infection of COVID-19.
PNB ATM
From 1 February 2021, PNB customers will not be able to transact from non-EMV ATMs. This restriction will apply to both financial and non-financial transactions.
