Nashik: The use of eco-friendly electric vehicles is going to be massive in the future, so it will be impossible for the Nashik Municipal Corporation to provide charging stations as compared to the increasing vehicles. Therefore, it will be mandatory for builders to install battery charging points in buildings having more than 25 flats. Such a decision has been taken by the Nashik Municipal Administration.
Keeping in mind the increasing use of petrol and diesel and the increasing pollution, the environment ministry of the central government has fixed the policy of battery-operated vehicle. Under this, incentives will be given to battery operated vehicles by switching over to conventional fuel vehicles in a phased manner, which has been implemented since last year.
