According to the latest situation, while there is a decline in the daily positivity rate, the number of new cases and active cases is also decreasing day by day. In the last 24 hours, 1 lakh 93 thousand 419 corona tests were done, in which 8901 new corona patients were confirmed. In the same period, 16,786 people were treated and became corona free.
While reviewing the situation of COVID with Team-9 on Thursday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath described the signs of improvement as pleasant. He said that our tracing, testing, treatment and vaccination policy to protect against COVID has been a promising success. Effective control on third wave remains in the state. While the number of new cases is decreasing day by day, the number of people recovering is encouraging.
Total active cases in Uttar Pradesh 72 thousand 393
At present, the total active cases are 72 thousand 393. More than 98% of these people are recovering at home with minor symptoms. There is a steady decline in the active case and positivity rate. These are good signs. According to health experts, this infection is like the common flu. Therefore, there is no need to be afraid of this, but there is a need to be cautious. The CM directed that people should be made aware to follow the COVID protocol.

While reviewing the vaccination program, the Chief Minister was informed that with more than 25 crore 34 lakh COVID vaccinations, so far more than 98.58% of the adult population has received the first dose of the vaccine, while 66.87% of the people have received both the doses. . The Chief Minister also directed to communicate with the relatives of COVID positive people under treatment in the hospital at regular intervals through CM Helpline 1076, to provide medical advice, medicines etc. to the people taking health benefits in home isolation.
