Ambernath: The Home Department has given its approval to the proposal for reconstruction of Hillline Police Station at Ambernath West and Ulhasnagar-5 (Ulhasnagar). Local MLA Dr. Balaji Kinikar had been trying for the approval of this work for more than 3 years.
On Saturday, Ambernath MLA Dr. Balaji Kinikar held a meeting with Shiv Sena Kalyan District Sampark Pramukh Gopal Landge and Ulhasnagar Circle 4 Deputy Commissioner of Police Prashant Mohite and took stock of the proposed police station. During the meeting, there was a detailed discussion regarding the reconstruction of both the police stations.

The condition of Vitthalwadi Police Station located in Ulhasnagar 4 is deplorable. The topic of construction of a new building in the open space near the police station was also discussed. Everyone in the meeting also inspected Vithalwadi Police Station. On this occasion, Deputy District Chief Chandrakant Bodare, City Chief Rajendra Choudhary, former NAPA President Sunil Choudhary, Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation corporator Dhananjay Bodare, Department Head Suresh Sonawane, Assistant Commissioner of Police Jagdish Satav, Police Inspector Gaikwad of Vithalwadi Police Station etc. were present.
Due to the efforts made under the guidance of District Guardian and State Urban Development Minister Eknath Shinde Sahab and Regional MP Dr. Shrikant Shinde, the above pending work has been approved. Now the remaining technical work will also start. Efforts are being made that in the coming year, the construction work of the police station should start directly.
