Trimbakeshwar: The news of bringing drinking water from the mouth of death by the women of Pada coming under Kharkhet Gram Panchayat of Tehsil made headlines in many newspapers. After which the District Council Administration, who woke up from sleep, has built a bridge over a 30 feet deep ditch. In addition, arrangements are being made to provide drinking water through taps. It will take 3 months. Women have worshiped the bridge.
It is worth mentioning that there are 12 paras in Kharkhet Gram Panchayat premises. Almost all the families here live on the banks of river Tas, one and a half kilometer away from Pada for farming. There are more than 300 families in 25 tribal settlements. The women here had to bring drinking water from the mouth of death every day. These women used to bring water by crossing the wooden bridge built in the ditch. Many villagers have fallen into this ditch. Many schemes of the government come to the village, but do not reach these settlements. This is the misfortune of these tribals.

A bridge has been constructed on the other river of the complex, but the problem is not getting reduced due to non-construction of a bridge on the river Tas.
