The district surgeon has indicated to take action against the culprits after examining the treatment done without swab with the resident of Ghatpuri area. In this context, the district surgeon has ordered the patient’s file. The disclosure in this context came when close relatives of persons who died due to COVID started matching documents to apply for Sangraha Grant.
Separate COVID control rooms have been set up in all rural hospitals, sub-district hospitals and general hospitals in the district for the treatment of corona suspects and infected patients. Here an independent medical officer has also been appointed as the nodal officer. The nodal officer had the vital responsibility of coordinating the supervision, treatment and administration of patients in the COVID ward.
However, the death of a person from Ghatpuri shows that the COVID Nodal Officer of Khamgaon Hospital has neglected his duty and neglected the health of the patient. After this matter is now exposed, the District Surgeon has taken cognizance of the matter and the District Surgeon has asked for the file of ‘that’ patient. The Medical Superintendent of Khamgaon General Hospital has also expressed surprise about this.
The problems of the doctor who was treating him wrongly increased
The doctors concerned, who are treating the COVID patients at Khamgaon General Hospital, have also come into trouble. Information about the matter has been sought from the Medical Superintendent. Along with this, the relatives of the patient have expressed their desire to file a complaint with the District Magistrate, Superintendent of Police and District Surgeon.
Death due to remdesivir injection – son’s allegation
So far 81,660 patients have been found positive in Buldhana district. Of these, 675 people have died. Many of these patients have been given injections of Remdesivir. The relatives told that the patient of Ghatpuri was also given Remdesivir before diagnosis.
Since there was no remdesivir available in the general hospital, the doctor advised to bring the remdesivir injection from outside medical. In order to save his father’s life, the son paid Rs 2,500.
