Guidelines issued for the safety of passengers, information on a booking will be closed on March 19 due to Corona infection
The Tejas Express, known as the first corporate train of the Indian Railways, is resuming from today. Tejas Express is currently running on two routes. The operation of Tejas Express was stopped on 19 March due to Corona infection. Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), a subsidiary of the Indian Railways, operates the Tejas Express. IRCTC has issued a guideline for passengers to operate trains during the Corona transition.
These are the guidelines of IRCTC
Once seated, passengers will not be allowed to change seats. A face cover or mask will be mandatory for all passengers and staff. All passengers will have to install the Arogya Setu app on their mobile. On-demand, this app will have to be shown to the concerned officer. All passengers will be given a Covid-19 protection kit. The kit includes a hand sanitizer bottle, a mask, a face shield and a pair of globs. The couch will have thermal scanning and hand sanitization of all passengers prior to entry. All coaches will be disinfected after a certain time. There will be separate staff for disinfecting passengers’ luggage. Passengers will be informed of the guidelines at the time of booking of tickets.
Tej Express operates on two routes
At present, Tejas Express operates on two routes. This route is Delhi-Lucknow and Mumbai Ahmedabad. The Tejas Express was operated on 4 October 2019 on the Lucknow-Delhi route. At the same time, Tejas Express was started on January 19 this year on the Ahmedabad-Mumbai route.
This is timing
The train starts from Lucknow at 6.10 am on the Lucknow-Delhi route and reaches Delhi at 12.25 pm. From Delhi, this train leaves at 3.35 pm and reaches Lucknow at 10.05 pm. On Mumbai Ahmedabad route, this train runs from Mumbai Central at 3.40 pm and reaches Ahmedabad at 9.55 pm. It runs from Ahmedabad at 6.40 am and reaches Mumbai at 1.10 pm.
