Tata Motors today announced the pricing of its sub-compact SUV – the compact SUV Punch, with a starting price of Rs 5.49 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The Tata Punch will be available in both manual (MT) and automatic (AMT) transmission options. The vehicle will come in four different Pure, Adventure, Accomplished and Creative variants.
Tata Motors has priced the Pure variant at Rs 5.49 lakh, followed by the Adventure variant at Rs 6,39,000, the finished model at Rs 7,29,000 and the top end Creative variant at Rs 8,49,000.
According to the company, the Pure variant has been designed for customers who appreciate minimalist and simplicity and prefer functionality without any complications.
The Adventure variant caters to the needs of the customers who are more fond of adventure and travel. The Exclusive variant is for city dwellers who like to make a style statement with multiple features for an active metro life.
Lastly, the Creative variant is geared towards digital natives. For those who like to have all the information at their fingertips, who have a tech-savvy lifestyle, this model will be able to fit in with them.
Tata Punch will now be ready for delivery in over 1000 Tata Motors showrooms across the country. The punch is based on the H2X concept, which was showcased by Tata Motors at the Auto Expo 2020.
The punch will be below the Nexon in the company’s product line-up. It comes with a 1.2-litre petrol engine, which is mated to both manual and automatic transmissions.
The model comes with SUV features like taller seating, higher ground clearance, 370 mm water wading capability and traction feature to aid recovery in off-road conditions.
According to Tata Motors, customers can choose from 7 colors to select their punch and personalize it with Rhythm and Dazzle customization packs.
