At this time, MP and MLA Dhanorkar couple has demanded power minister Dr. Nitin Raut to supply electricity for 8 hours a day to Krishipump in Chandrapur district.
MLA Dhanorkar said at this time that the farmers of Tadoba forest and surrounding premises in Chandrapur district have to go in the morning to give water to the fields. Due to the fear of wild animals during the night, he could go to water the fields during the night. Going to the fields at night is not free from danger.
In this context, after supplying electricity for 8 hours a day, observe the technicalities. Energy Minister Dr. Nitin Raut has given instructions to check other options in the same way if additional financial burden is being created on Mahavitaran by supplying electricity during the day.
Supplying electricity for 8 hours a day to the agricultural pump of the Naxal-hit Chandrapur district is going to cost an additional 1.5 crore rupees for the purchase of electricity. For this, on receipt of funds from the District Development Plan of the district, it will be possible to supply electricity during the day, Dr. Raut gave such information. It was welcomed by MLA Dhanorkar.
Customers residing in remote areas have to face many problems to undo the power supply failure due to technical reasons. Informed about the need to prepare a new policy on electricity rate and supply for such an area.
