Apart from this, the income of shops which used to have a good customer base in the afternoon has come down by 30-35 per cent. The number of people buying watermelon, coconut water has increased rapidly. The month of April has just started, only two days have passed and as the days progress, the mercury will keep rising.

According to the Meteorological Department, in the months of April and May, the people of the district will have to bear the heat of 40 or more temperatures. Doctors say that if you want to stay healthy in summer then it is very important to consume pure and hot food. People themselves have stopped going out in the afternoon. Due to the scorching heat, this year the procession was taken out in the evening instead of in the morning to welcome the new year coming out on Gudhi Padwa. It is also being considered to change the timings of all schools including Zilla Parishad schools. In this summer, the desolation seen on the streets in the afternoon will remain like this for two months now.
