Suez Canal Updates: The giant cargo ship Ever Given (Ever Given), trapped in the Suez Canal for the last 6 days, has been evacuated. Now it is slowly moving towards its destination. This cargo ship is considered to be one of the largest cargo container ships in the world. The ship named Ever Given runs between Asia and Europe. Ever Given, which was carrying goods between Asia and Europe, was trapped in this canal on Tuesday. Due to slanting in the canal, the entire water traffic from this canal was stopped. Since then, the authorities were trying again to remove the ship and free the waterway from the jam. 25 Indians are driving this ship. All Indian drivers are said to be completely safe. The 193.3 km long Suez Canal connects the Mediterranean Sea with the Red Sea. About 30 percent of the world’s shipping containers pass through this route. 12 per cent of the world’s goods are also transported through this canal.
More than 300 Jahanj were stranded
This cargo ship was stuck in the Suez Canal due to dust storm. This 1300 feet long cargo ship got stuck causing a traffic jam in the Red Sea and the Mediterranean Sea. In this traffic jam, about 150 cargo ships, 150 ships and oil containers were stranded. Which included about 10 crude tankers loaded with 13 million barrels of crude oil. Due to this, the delivery of petroleum products in many countries was delayed. Crude oil prices had skyrocketed since the cargo got stuck.
