- Diksharaj of Chandrapur, Harshal of Chimur talked to the family on Saturday
Chandrapur. Efforts have intensified to bring Indians trapped in Ukraine to India. Two students of Chandrapur district trapped in Ukraine are not able to be contacted after reaching the neighboring country of Rumania. On Saturday afternoon, Harshal Thavre of Chimur and Diksharaj of Chandrapur contacted their families and told that they had left for the neighboring country of Rumania. There is a lot of concern among their parents regarding these students. All the acquaintances and countrymen including his family are also praying for the safe return of all Indians including students to the country.
Harshal Balwant Thawre, 21, a resident of Chinchala village of Chimur tehsil, one of the six students of the district trapped in Ukraine, on contact with his parents on Saturday afternoon, informed him about reaching the neighboring country Romania safely. Harshal went to Ukraine two years ago to study MBBS. Many Indians are stuck there due to the war between Russia and Ukraine.
In view of the war situation, Harshal’s father had sent money four days ago. But Harshal got stuck due to the closure of the airline from the Ukrainian capital in Russia’s attack. When contacted on Saturday afternoon, he told that all the Indian students are safe and have reached the border of Ukraine and Romania country. From there they will return to the country when airlines are available.
The students of the district who are trapped in the war-like situation of Ukraine include Harshal Balwant Thavre, Aishwarya Praful Khobragade, Neha Sheikh, Aditi Anant Saire, Dheeraj Ashim Biswas, Diksharaj Akela. Out of the above three, Harshal, Aishwarya and Neha are studying in the medical college there, the other three are also taking education there. All the above students live in cities of different states of Ukraine. They have been rescued to safer places with the help of the Indian Embassy.
Diksharaj, a resident of Durgapur colony alone in an attempt to get out of Ukraine
Durgapur (Ed) – Diksharaj Akela, daughter of Randhir Akela, working on the post of overman in Vakoli Durgapur, was doing MBBS fourth year course at Vinnytsia National Medical University in Vinnytsia city of Ukraine when war broke out. Due to the heavy war between Russia and Ukraine, Diksharaj felt alone insecure. Because of this, his relatives and well-wishers including his mother and father were very worried. His parents contacted the office of the District Magistrate located in Chandrapur. Here the Indian Ambassador’s Office in Ukraine extended a helping hand.
According to the information, Diksharaj alone had left for Romania by bus from Ukraine at 9.30 pm Indian time on Saturday. Since then, his parents have not been able to talk to Diksharaj. From this it is being speculated that Diksharaj may have reached Romania. For this reason, the mobile SIM of Ukraine will not be able to work in the country of Romania due to being a separate country due to the exit of Ukraine.
It is to be known that Diksharaj had entered Ukraine in 2018. Came here for a few days in 2019. After that due to Corona, she could not come for three years.
