The second match of the 3-match Test series between India and South Africa (India vs South Africa Test Series, 2021-2022) was played at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg (Johannesburg Test Match 2022). In the second innings of the match, on the fourth day, South Africa scored 243 for 3 in 67.4 overs (in the second innings) and defeated the Indian team by 7 wickets.
It is worth noting that in the first Test match played at Centurion ground of this series (India vs South Africa Centurion Test Match 2021), India won. Now South Africa created history by defeating India in the Johannesburg Test. The history of Test cricket tells that South Africa defeated India for the first time at the Wanderers ground in Johannesburg. For the first time since 1992, South Africa has defeated the Indian team in this ground in a Test match.
