Ranchi: Under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Ranchi, a review meeting was held at Ranchi Collectorate to review matters related to revenue, registration and land reforms. Additional Collector Ranchi, Sub-Divisional Officer Sadar, Deputy Collector Land Reforms Ranchi, Deputy Collector in-charge Revenue, District Land Acquisition Officer and all the circle officers of the district were present in the meeting organized in the Deputy Commissioner’s auditorium located at Ranchi Collectorate Block A. In the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed in detail the updated status of pending filings, pending cases related to land acquisition, certificates, land demarcation etc.
During the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Ranchi Chhavi Ranjan reviewed the zone wise mutation and demarcation. During this, through PPT, the Deputy Commissioner, taking information about the performance of all the zones, inquired about the reason for the high rejection percentage. Due to the high rejection percentage, the Deputy Commissioner directed to postpone the salary of many COs and to show cause.

Due to the pendency of more cases of mutation, the Deputy Commissioner directed the Circle Officers Hehal, Ratu, and Sonahatu to show cause. The Deputy Commissioner also asked for suspension of the salary of CO Hehl. CO Ratu was instructed by the Deputy Commissioner to give detailed information about the rejected mutation. He said that due to which the mutation was rejected, give information about it. In the next meeting, the Deputy Commissioner asked to provide the zone wise profile regarding the mutation case so that the number of cases pending in the login of CO, CI and Halka employee can be reviewed.
Action even if the rejection percentage is high in the demarcation
While reviewing the demarcation cases, the Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned CO to show cause in the areas where the rejection percentage was high. The Deputy Commissioner directed Chanho, Namkum and Angada CO to postpone the salary while mourning.
The team will check the higher rejection percentage
Deputy Commissioner Ranchi directed to constitute a team for more rejection of demarcation related matters in different areas of the district. The Deputy Commissioner said that Additional Collector, Additional Collector Naxal, SDO Sadar and Bundu, DCLR and SAR should constitute a team. This team will go to each zone and check the rejections.
Instructions to take action under Right to Service Act
While reviewing the pending cases of certificates, the Deputy Commissioner expressed his displeasure over the pending cases for more than 30 days. He directed to take action against the concerned CO for pending cases for more than 30 days under Right to Service Act. The circle officers of Anagada, Nagdi, Namkum, Budhmu, Ratu, Silli, Tamar, Kanke were asked to give information about the number of cases executed from their date of joining. He said that all the COs should be asked for clarification in this regard. The Deputy Commissioner directed Anagada, Kanke, Budhmu and Itki CO to send reminders for taking more time than the distance average time in issuance of certificates.

How many cases are pending in the SAR court of various office bearers, how many cases are being executed every month by the Deputy Commissioner. He was also directed to submit its report. During the meeting, the requirement of land for police station, OP/POP at various places in the district was given by City SP, Ranchi. On this, Deputy Commissioner Chhavi Ranjan asked the concerned CO to identify the land. He asked to select a large area keeping the future in mind. Apart from this, in the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Chhavi Ranjan, while reviewing the matters related to the selection of Manki Munda, payment of honorarium, land acquisition, gave necessary directions to the concerned officials.
