After investigation in this garbage scam case, corruption and financial irregularities were exposed, on the complaint of Chief Officer Charudutt Ingole at Umarkhed Police Station, a crime was registered against 11 people including the outgoing Municipal President and MLA Namdevrao Sasane. After which, including MLA Sasane, Chandrashekhar Jaiswal, Dilip Surte, Savita Pachkore, Amol Tivarangkar, the Pusad Sessions Court has granted temporary interim bail.
After this, on February 18, during the hearing today on the arrest bail petition filed by the accused contractor Firoz Khan Azad Khan, Gajanan Mohale, Municipal Accountant Subhash Bhute, Sanitation Inspector Vishal Srivastava, an objection was registered by the public prosecutor.
While all the accused in this case should be heard together, this request was made by the investigating officer of the Economic Offenses Wing, Additional District Police Superintendent Khanderao Dharne, through the government lawyer, to the court. On which the court rejected the bail plea of these four accused. In this case, a concerted hearing has been held on the bail pleas of all the accused.
Meanwhile, the Economic Offenses Wing, which is probing the garbage scam case, insisted on getting evidence as per the records while verifying the documents related to it. In this case, an offense has been registered under IPC section 420,409,465,467,468,471, earlier. Now in this case, while presenting the police from the court, these two pens have been increased, Additional District Police Superintendent Dr. Khanderao Dharne has given such information.
