Serum Institute has thanked Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya for approving another vaccine.
Serum Institute tweeted on its official twitter and said, ‘Thanks to Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya for allowing emergency use of COVOVAX in India. It is a highly effective vaccine and a major step in India’s fight against COVID-19. This vaccine is manufactured and marketed in India by SII under the brand name COVOVAX.

Serum Institute CEO Ader Poonawalla said in a statement, “The DCGI approval of Kovovax will strengthen our immunization efforts in India and low- and middle-income countries. We are proud to be providing a highly effective protein based COVID-19 vaccine with 90% efficacy.”
Government approved two more vaccines
