The postponed Senate meeting of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University was held from 10 am on Monday, but the Vice-Chancellor in a very strange way announced the conclusion of the meeting within just 5 minutes. The budget was presented in the Senate of the University last week. The meeting which lasted for two days was adjourned. The agenda for the meeting to be held on Monday at 10 am was fixed. The first session was Q&A, followed by motions. As soon as the meeting started, the Vice-Chancellor gave instructions to start the work. Meanwhile, member Damodhar Satpute, representing the principals, proposed the conclusion of the meeting after all the important issues were placed in the Senate. All the founders and operators, including the Dean of Science Branch Maheshwari, approved the proposal. The offer was accepted immediately. Soon after, the Senate settled with the national anthem.
