The government has so far announced three self-sufficient India packages (ANBP) to bail out the economy hit by the COVID-19 epidemic. On Friday, a comprehensive review of ANBP was completed during three days with secretaries of various ministries and related departments. After the announcement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Finance Minister had announced ANBP 1.0 in several press conferences held from 13 May to 17 May. After that, Package 2.0 was announced on 12 October and the third package on 12 November.
The Finance Ministry released a statement on Sunday and shared the details of the progress of various schemes under the ANBP, stating that banks have signed a Rs. 3 lakh crore Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme (ECLGS) for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MMME). Under this, loans worth Rs 2,05,563 crore have been sanctioned to about 81 lakh accounts. About 40 lakh MSME accounts have received loans of Rs 1,58,626 crore till December 4. Announcing the Self-Reliant India Package 3.0 last month, the Finance Minister said that a loan of Rs 2.05 lakh crore has been sanctioned under ECLGS 1.0. Out of this a loan of Rs 1.52 lakh crore has been given.
ECLGS 2.0
The ECLGS scheme has been expanded to 26 pressure zones and the healthcare sector under ECLGS 2.0. Under ECLGS 2.0, units whose outstanding debt is more than Rs 50 crore and up to Rs 500 crore by February 29, 2020, and which is equal to or less than the previous 30-day outstanding by February 29, 2020, are eligible for this scheme. The loan provided under ECLGS 2.0 will be for a period of five years. There will be a rebate of 12 months for the payment of the principal amount. The entire scheme is valid till 31 March 2021.

Status of other schemes
On the progress of other schemes, the Finance Ministry said that Rs 775 crore has been released to the National Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) as an interesting aid for Mudra-Shishu loan of Rs 1,500 crore. The ministry said in a tweet that 1.69 crore farmers have benefited under the Kisan Credit Card Scheme. By December 4, 2020, he has been sanctioned a loan limit of Rs 1.54 lakh crore.
