Gondia: Due to less infection of corona and Omicron virus in the district, orders have been given in the meeting chaired by the District Collector to start the schools directly from class 1st to class 7th of the district from February 14 through offline mode. Mahendra Motghare, the primary education officer of the Zilla Parishad, has given information about starting the classes from class 1st to 7th in the district.
According to the Transition Act 1897, Objection Settlement Act 2005 and Section 144 of Criminal Procedure Code 1973 in the district, it will be in the interest of the students to start regular school offline mode for the students of the district. Prior to this, school along with college was started from class 8th. Along with this, now orders have been given to start schools from class 1st to 7th from February 14. For this, it will be mandatory for the teachers and non-teaching staff to do RTPCR test.
Students will be banned from coming to the school if they have fever, cold, cough. It will be binding on the school to get the consent letter from the parent for the student to come to the school. On refusal of parent’s consent, academic classes should be started for the students through offline method, there will be a ban on organizing crowd programs like sports, affection conferences on the field. Public awareness should be created by encouraging the parents with a view to vaccinate the parents of the students 100%, to avoid the crowding of the school, college premises, the entry of the parents should be avoided in the school premises. Along with this, Corona prohibitive rules should be followed.
Action against those who break the order
By giving regular visits to the Group Education Officer, Extension Officer, Center Head and other supervisors, the schools should be made to eat from time to time as per the rules of the school. Any person contravening this order shall be deemed to have committed the offense of punishment in accordance with Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Section 1 of the Objection Settlement Act, 2005. Along with this, action will be taken against the concerned. This order has been implemented as per the provision of section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code 1973.
