The Central and State Governments are running several schemes to improve the income of farmers for the scheme. Under the Kisan Credit Card Scheme of the Modi government, loans are given to the farmers at a very low-interest rate. At the same time, now the Madhya Pradesh government has made a big announcement for the farmers.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan (CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan) has said that farmers of the state will now be able to get agricultural loans at zero interest rate. For this, the Madhya Pradesh government has transferred Rs 800 crore into the accounts of cooperative banks.

Loan will be available without interest

CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that cooperative reviews have a big contribution in the economic development of the country. The government is taking several steps for the welfare of farmers. In this series, we have implemented a loan scheme for farmers at zero interest rate. Work is also going on to provide benefits of Kisan Samman Nidhi and Bima Yojana to farmers. He said that we will leave no stone unturned to double the income of farmers by the year 2022.

800 crore grant

The Chief Minister said that a grant of Rs 800 crore will be given to District Cooperative Central Banks. The work of giving loans to farmers at zero interest will continue. Animal husbandry and fishermen will also be added to it. Many schemes are being run in the interest of farmers. PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, giving loans at zero percent interest, Prime Minister Crop Insurance, etc. will be implemented by incorporating all schemes as a package.

Loans are available at the rate of 4 percent

Let us tell you that the Central Government provides loans for farmers at the rate of 4 percent through the Kisan Credit Card. Although the loan is available only at the rate of 9 per cent, the government gives a subsidy of 2 per cent through this card. At the same time, farmers get a further rebate of 3% if they repay this loan on time. That is, the farmer only has to pay interest at the rate of 4 percent.
