Mumbai: The dispute between former NCB Mumbai zonal director Sameer Wankhede and NCP leader Nawab Malik is not over yet. Sameer Wankhede’s father Gyandev Wankhede has once again moved the Bombay High Court.

Gyandev filed a contempt petition against Nawab Malik. The petition claimed that despite the assurances given by the court, Malik allegedly continued to defame his family. The petition also mentions 3 violations by Malik. In these, 28 December 2021, 2 and 3 January 2022 have been mentioned.
In fact, Wankhede’s father, Gyandev had filed a defamation suit against Malik in the Bombay High Court in early November last year. It requested, among other things, to stop the minister from posting derogatory statements against him and his family on social media. Gyandev Wankhede has also sought damages of Rs 1.25 crore. Sameer Wankhede and his family have repeatedly denied all the allegations made by the state minister.
