New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday hit out at Congress and its general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra over the alleged rape of a 15-year-old mentally challenged girl in Rajasthan’s Alwar district, accusing her of doing selective politics. BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra said at a press conference held at the party headquarters, “Why is it that Priyanka Gandhi Vadra says, “I am a girl, can fight” when she goes to Uttar Pradesh. But in Rajasthan, where there is a Congress government, their tone changes to “If you are a girl, it is forbidden to fight and you will have to remain silent”.
It is to be known that in Rajasthan, a mentally challenged teenager was found injured on the road near Tijara gate of Alwar at 9 o’clock on Tuesday night. He underwent surgery on Wednesday at a hospital in Jaipur. The surgery took two-and-a-half hours due to severe injuries to the victim’s private parts.

Patra said that Priyanka Gandhi, who calls herself the “champion of women”, was celebrating her birthday with her family in Ranthambore, Rajasthan, when the teenager was battling for life and death. He said that a delegation of BJP leaders had also gone to Ranthambore to meet the Congress General Secretary regarding this matter.
Patra claimed that BJP leaders were not allowed to meet Priyanka Vadra on the grounds that she was busy celebrating her birthday and could not meet anyone. “It shows the selective politics of the Congress party,” he said.
Patra said, “Actually you are a Congressman and can only do politics…Using atrocities against women, making them the pivot of politics, the Gandhi family is trying to fulfill their ambitions… by Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Vadra. are. It’s unforgivable.”
He questioned that when will the Congress leaders, who have gone viral on social media by posing with rape victims, go to Alwar? He also asked whether Congress General Secretary Vadra has summoned any report from Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on the heinous crime in Rajasthan. Patra also objected to the statement of state Women and Child Development Minister Mamta Bhupesh in which she had allegedly said that the rapists of women and girls are roaming around, they do not have tilak on their foreheads. He also demanded an apology from Mamta Bhupesh and Chief Minister Gehlot for this statement. Taking suo motu cognizance in this matter, the Rajasthan State Human Rights Commission has sought a report from the district administration.
It is worth noting that after missing hours on Tuesday in the Malkheda police station area of Alwar district, a mentally challenged, 15-year-old teenager was found injured near Tijara gate at around 9 pm.
