The news of Russia’s attack on Ukraine shocked the people of many Asian countries including India on Thursday morning. The pictures of the airstrikes on innocent civilians in Ukraine were disturbing. After this attack, now the question in the minds of the people of not only Ukraine and Eastern Europe but America and other countries is what will happen next?
New Refugee Crisis will start
At least 40 Ukrainian soldiers are reported to have been killed in this attack. Thousands of people have lost their lives so far in the conflict between the two countries. Now America and Western countries are imposing various types of sanctions on Russia. It will not only affect Russia, but the lives of people around the world will be affected by it. Russia’s cyber attacks can cause major damage to electronic infrastructure. A new refugee crisis will arise, the solution of which will require cooperation at the international level. The biggest thing is that World War II has posed a great challenge to the atmosphere of more or less peace.

NATO preparing to curb Russia
NATO said on Thursday it was sending more troops to Eastern Europe. The US has already sent 6,500 troops to Eastern Europe and the Baltics. NATO said, “We are deploying additional army and air forces to the eastern side of the Alliance. In addition, Navy presence will also be increased. We have increased our preparedness at the level of forces for any kind of emergency.”
The Pentagon is deploying 1,000 troops to Eastern Europe. About 800 American troops are going from Italy to the Baltics. 20 Apache helicopters are arriving in the Baltics from Germany. 12 Apache helicopters are going from Greece to Poland. 8 F-35 strike fighters are arriving from Germany in Lithuania, Estonia and Romania. The Pentagon has given this information.
Emergency facilities being built in Eastern Europe
An army spokesman said US troops, including the 82nd and 101st US Airborne Divisions, were approaching Poland’s border with Ukraine. These will help people leaving Ukraine. Bunk beds have been built in the indoor arena at Jasioka in Poland. In these, arrangements have been made for the supply of essential things for about 500 people. US officials have said that its number can be increased immediately if needed.
Austria’s chancellor Nehamer has said he is ready to accept asylum seekers. The US State Department and the US Agency for International Development Relief Organizations are helping. They are providing food, water, shelter and emergency health care to the survivors of the attacks.
CIA is also ready to throw its power
In the coming days, the CIA will have an idea of what kind of help it can provide to Ukraine. If people in those parts of Ukraine oppose Russian occupation, it can provide those people with weapons and other essentials. A CIA official said: “We want to help the citizens of Ukraine resisting the attacks. We will immediately use our experience and extensive knowledge of dealing with insurgents over the past 20 years.”
