The 4-year-old black cat has been dodging airport and airline employees at Boston Logan International Airport for about three weeks after working from her household’s Lufthansa flight when it arrived June 24. The household had returned from 15 years in Germany with the Army.
It remained a sport of cat and mouse till she was lastly caught Wednesday after which returned to her household
“Whether out of fatigue or hunger, we’ll never know, but this morning she finally let herself be caught,” Jennifer Mehigan, spokeswoman for Massport, mentioned Wednesday.
Owner Patty Sahli advised the AP that she was “kind of in disbelief.”
“I thought, ‘What are the odds we’re actually going to get her back?’ But I got a call this morning and I am just so shocked,” she added.
“It was such a community effort,” mentioned Sahli, who’s initially from New Hampshire and is transferring to Florida. “We’re just so grateful to everyone who helped look for her.”
