Reliance Brands: Reliance Brands, the brand licensing arm of Reliance Industries, has formed a JV with designer Rahul Mishra to launch a new brand. The company, in a statement issued on January 31, said that the Reliance brand will begin the journey of creating a new brand in association with Rahul Mishra. This 60:40 joint venture (either through him and/or his associates) will be a ready-to-wear business of Rahul Mishra.
This is the second such partnership by the company in about a month. Earlier in December, Reliance Brands announced a similar partnership with fashion design Anamika Khanna, under which it plans to develop a fashion brand ‘AK-OK’.
