Actor Sunil Shetty, who has long revelled in the hearts of people through the silver screen with his acting, has emerged as an investor for the past few years. Sunil is also an entrepreneur with his hotel and real estate business. He has started with Mischief Dining Bar and Club H20 in Mumbai. Founded by IIT Delhi alumni Harsh Snehanshu and Ashish Singh, YourQuote is a creative writing app for writers that transforms their text into art. This startup has recently won Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Self-Reliant India App Innovation Challenge. You can read about yourQuote in detail here.

WCC2 became popular
In the last few years, WCC2 has made its place as a game in the mobile of youth and now this game is gaining popularity worldwide. The game has won the People’s Choice Category title in PM Modi’s Atmanibhar Bharat App Innovation Challenge. It garnered 74 percent of the popular vote in the category while finishing third in the jury round.
Its parent company Nextwave Multimedia is now planning to appear in public soon with the next and improved version of the game. Currently being one of the most popular mobile games in India, it is one of the top 10 games in the world in terms of a number of daily active users.
Fast and cheap internet
In order to meet the growing demand for cheap internet with high speed, NCR based Exitel is making great strides today. Started in 2015, Excitel currently serves Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Lucknow and Kanpur, with Pan India moving forward with the goal of making a presence in the near future.

India’s own ‘twitter’
Koo App, a Twitter-like microblogging platform for Indian-language speakers, which has won the Atmanibhar Bharat App Innovation Challenge in the social category. PM Modi in his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ address also praised the Vocal founders for this app. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his Mann Ki Baat address on Sunday, praised several Made in India apps, which recently won the government’s Self-Reliant India App Innovation Challenge, including the Kuo app.
This app won the Atmanibhar Bharat App Innovation Challenge under the social category. It was established only in March 2020. In the coming times, ‘Koo App’ can make its way among people as an alternative to Twitter.
