According to Western Railway, a total of 2.81 lakh cases have been reported in the month of November for traveling without tickets in Mumbai local trains. In all these cases, Rs 18.70 crore has been recovered by the Railways as fine.

Western Railway has given information about this special record by tweeting. He has told that, during the ticket checking drive conducted by Western Railway from April to November 2021, employees took action in 9.60 lakh cases of unbooked baggage without ticket/irregular travel, resulting in recovery of Rs. 55.28 crores.
