Rafale Fighter Jets: India has received the third shipment of Rafale fighter aircraft from France. Rafael landed in India on the evening of 27 October, flying continuously from France. After the arrival of these three Rafale, now the number of Rafale aircraft with India has increased to 11. The arrival of Rafale aircraft will increase the firepower of the Indian Air Force at a time when there is a fierce border dispute between India and China in East Ladakh. The Indian Air Force gave a tweet informing that three Rafale aircraft have reached the IAF base. According to the tweet, these three fighter aircraft have reached India after completing a journey of more than 7 thousand km and during this time the UAE Air Force has filled oil in the sky for which the Air Force has thanked them.

The first Rafale was found after four years of the deal
The first consignment of Rafale aircraft arrived in India on July 29, 2020, nearly four years after the deal was signed with France for 36 Rafale aircraft. India has signed a deal with France for 36 Rafale fighter jets for 59 thousand crores. The second consignment of Rafale aircraft arrived on 3 November 2020 last year. The Rafale aircraft is manufactured by the French company Dassault Aviation. India has made major purchases of fighter jets after almost 23 years. Earlier, India imported Sukhoi jet from Russia.

How deadly is Rafael
- Rafale is a two-engine fighter jet.
- Rafale jets are capable of carrying many weapons. It is also capable of flying with nuclear weapons.
- Rafael’s Weapon packages feature in the ‘Meteore Beyond Visual Range Air to Air Missile’ of Europe’s missile maker MBDA and ‘Scalp Cruise Missile’ capable of an air-to-ground hit. Rafael’s Scalp Missile has a range of about 300 km.
Apart from missile systems, Rafale jets will be equipped with many India specific modifications. These include Israeli helmet-mounted displays, radar warning receivers, low band jammers, 10 hours of flight data recording, infrared search and tracking systems, etc. - The Rafale aircraft has a carrying capacity of 9500 kg and is capable of flying an additional 60 hours with a maximum weight of up to 24,500 kg.
- Rafael is 15.27 meters tall and 5.3 meters high. Its fuel capacity is about 17 thousand kilograms.
- Rafael can fly up to 60 thousand feet altitude in a minute. Rafale can fly at a speed of 2,223 km per hour.
- Rafale radar can detect 40 targets at a time within 100 km. With this, the Indian Air Force will be able to see them without knowing the enemy aircraft.
- The specialty of finding 40 targets simultaneously makes this fighter jet more special than others.
