Nagpur: State, district, department and tehsil level crop competitions have been organized to create a competitive environment and encourage farmers to take maximum production using modern technology. Rabi season’s Jowar, Wheat, Chana, Jawas, Sesame and Kardai, these 6 crops have been included in the Rabi season’s crop competition. To be included in this, it will be necessary for farmers to sow the concerned crop in at least 10 R (0.10 hectare) area. For crop competition, this competition has been organized for crops in the total sown area of 1,000 hectares or more of the concerned tehsil.
This crop competition is organized freely for the general and tribal farmers. At tehsil level, it is necessary to have at least 10 competitions from the general category and at least 5 from the tribal group. 300 to the farmers participating in this competition. Entry fee will be charged per crop per farmer. Based on the results of the competition at the tehsil level, it will be further selected according to the district, department and state level. Apart from this, the prize money has also been increased this time.
According to this, first 5,000, second 3,000 and third prize Rs.2,000 at tehsil level, first Rs.10,000, second 7,000 and third Rs.5,000 at district level, first 25,000, second 20,000 and third 15,000 at departmental level. And the amount of first 50,000, second 40,000 and third prize of Rs 30,000 for the state level prize. It has been determined.
